Job Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

  • Sell and deliver a minimum number of vehicles per month
  • Process all paperwork in accordance with dealership policies and state regulations. 
  • Perform test drives with all prospects.
  • Utilize our processes, software, and follow-up systems to maximize success and encourage repeat and referral business in alignment with customer satisfaction.
  • Attend product and sales training courses. 
  • Keep up-to-date on products and services. 
  • Know, understand, and adhere to the federal, state and local laws that govern retail auto sales.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery before customer arrival.
  • Attend regular sales meetings.
  • Conduct business in an ethical and professional matter

Qualifications and Licenses: 

  • A valid, unrestricted driver's license (you must be insurable).
  • Maintain a clean, acceptable, safe driving record.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening requirements which include a drug screen, a background check and a Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Be able to read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language. 

Physical Demands: 

While performing the duties of this job you will be frequently required to sit, stand, and walk, both indoors and outdoors. Use hands to type, write, finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. You must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Service Advisors

Hampton Toyota currently has an opening for a customer focused Service Advisor; one that takes the time to fully explain the what for, the how, and the why, of maintenance and repair. The Service Advisor position is the main liaison between our customers and our technicians.

Our Service Advisor position is one where you get to help our guests proactively keep their vehicles well maintained, and get them back on the road when unexpected issues or accidents arise, regardless of the Make or Model. In this position you will greet customers and assess their needs, have their vehicles inspected and diagnosed, and present the results, needed repairs, and/or maintenance to the customer. You will research solutions, parts, and repairs that offer the best option, benefit, and price, and communicate those to customers to get their vehicle repaired and back to them in a timely and efficient manner. This is a high-volume, fast-paced position so you have to enjoy the challenge, the hustle and bustle, and the satisfaction of a job well-done. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES of our Service Advisor position are, including but not limited to: 
  • Greet clients in a prompt and courteous manner, 100% of the time.
  • Evaluate vehicles; listen to, and understand our customer's needs and concerns.
  • Ethically and accurately provide estimates for repairs and upcoming maintenance concerns. 
  • Remain current with manufacturer training, vehicle specifications, products, services, recalls, and certifications.
  • Accurately write, keep up with, and close a Repair Order
  • Keeps in touch with the client throughout the entire service process.
  • Maintain Customer Service Index (CSI) in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Attend department meetings as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Maintain strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication with clients and staff.
  • Maintain honesty and integrity while performing all job duties.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and codes of conduct.

Parts Counter and Retail Parts Department

If you have Parts Counter experience, the ability to research, order, receive, count, and distribute parts according to job, we want to talk to you! 

Hampton Toyota maintains a huge, HUGE inventory of parts, because more parts in stock means faster service, which results in our customers being able to get their car serviced quicker, with less waiting, and fewer "out of stock" parts that have to be ordered.

Keeping all these parts in stock, tracked, counted, shipped, daily receiving, distributed, and properly assigned to each vehicle and service ticket is a huge job. This job is one that will keep you busy, learning as you go, and up and moving around, plus you'll learn more about how cars operate and their detailed design.

Detail Department

Experienced car detailer: hiring immediately.

If you're a person that just can't sit still, like to keep busy, and enjoy working with your hands without the challenge of selling, this is the job for you. You'll be able to take pride in a job well done, in making things shine. Our detail department can make cars sparkle, and we give them all the tools and cleansers to do it. 2 years experience preferred. Hampton Toyota is looking for experienced auto detailers to do complete car detail and cleaning, both inside and out. 

We want someone who takes pride in their work. Someone who stands back and double checks their work, someone who pulls the car into the sun to make sure they cleaned every smudge, nook, and cranny. We have a saying here: You can do it right the first time, or you can do it over, and over, and over, and over again until you do it right.
